They claim their home, their land, their sense of belonging. For generations, refugees have been forced to leave their countries, often without justice or reason.
One of the women shared her raw emotion, saying: “Wake up! Notice what you’re doing!” A cry for the world to understand, to see the pain, and to acknowledge their journey.
Today, we closed the last of our three workshops, “Home is Where Your Art Is.” It’s been a powerful journey of reimagining what HOME truly means. We’ve crossed borders, countries, languages, emotions, and yes, tears…and so much more. Together, we’ve awakened a new feeling of HOME that is universal.
We are building a new world, one that starts with embracing the light within us and transforming that energy into action. Art has been the bridge, and together, we’ve supported each other as a community, celebrating the power of connection.
Today, each one of us committed to being the light in the world we wish to see:
✨ Power ✨ Strength ✨ Hope ✨ Kindness ✨ Joy ✨ Belonging ✨ Meaning ✨ Gratitude
These are the lights we bring to this world today, and our commitment to keep them shining.
HOME is what we create together.
The initiative is implemented by the Refugee Council of Lithuania together with Heartwarmingly.
